Mountain View Bank of Commerce opens in Westminster

Mountain View Bank of Commerce, a new community bank, is now open for business, executives said Monday.

The state-chartered bank is located at 12365 Huron St. in Westminster. It opened its doors on Feb. 8.

Andy Ellison is the bank's president and CEO. Mountain View will concentrate on offering banking services to owners of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as loan and deposit products for local residents, he said.

One of the project's investors is Lansing, Mich.-based Capitol Bancorp (NYSE: CBC). Capitol also participated in the opening of Fort Collins Commerce Bank in 2005, and Larimer Bank of Commerce and Loveland Bank of Commerce, both in 2007.
